Today, Lettuce & The Floozies have announced the third annual Rage Rocks. Both bands return to the historic Red Rocks Amphitheatre on Friday, June 8th, with support by The Funk Hunters and Jaw Gems. Fan Club presale tickets are available NOW. Early-bird pre-sale begins Thursday, February 1st at 10am MST. General on-sale begins Friday, February 2nd at 10am MST.
A beloved tradition by both bands and their fans, this will mark Lettuce’s fifth time playing at the venue, and The Floozies’ fourth time. As Lettuce Drummer Adam Deitch simply puts it, “Red Rocks is a magical place.”
“It is super intense to play,” explains Lettuce saxophonist, Ryan Zoidis. “The crowd is like a wall in front of you. It really connects us with the fans on a deep energy level that fuels the music. We’ve had some of our best nights of music there since we started playing in that venue. That’s what keeps us coming back every year too.”
Floozies drummer Mark Hill reminisces, “When I was 15, I picked up the album Outta Here by Lettuce and it stayed in the CD player of my Mitsubishi for 3 months straight. Red Rocks is one of the most beautiful places I’ve been, and to come back again this year and rock that stage alongside some of the greatest musicians, friends, and people I know and have looked up to for years is priceless and truly something else.”
Leading up to the show, Lettuce will hit the road on their Beyond the Clouds 2018 headline tour. Comprised of 23-dates, the tour features dates in cities across the country.
The Floozies are on the road this winter & spring as well – having just wrapped up the Powder Rangers 2 tour, selling out 12 venues in 12 days across the Colorado Rockies.
Known for their incendiary live shows, extensive touring, die-hard fans, and massive two-decade career, Lettuce brings forth a new vitality to classic funk music. Comprised of a stellar group of musicians - Drummer Adam Deitch, guitarist Adam Smirnoff, bassist Erick "Jesus" Coomes, keyboardist and vocalist Nigel Hall, saxophonist Ryan Zoidis, and trumpet player Eric Bloom – the members of Lettuce are highly sought after musicians who, together, continue to earn their name as a can't-miss live act and acclaimed masters of their craft. Blending together these talents in a sound distinctly their own, they have garnered praised by the likes of New York Times, NPR, Billboard, Consequence of Sound, Relix, Red Bull Music and more.

ABOUT THE FLOOZIES:
Born in funk and bred in the digital age, live electronic duo The Floozies have burst onto the scene with electrifying live shows that have lit up crowds across the country for close to a decade. Brothers Matt and Mark Hill share the stage just as easily as they share a musical brain. Without a set list, and without a word between them, Matt’s guitar is in lockstep with the thud of Mark’s kick. Endless looping and production builds the raw scenery upon which palm muted chugs, searing solos, and wobbling bass paint their dazzling array of colors.
